DIYGarage started as a student project in December 2016. Two web-development students from a small town in Idaho set out to build a new platform that anyone could sign up for to show off their projects and teach their skills.
Darryl was in charge of programming the back-end systems of the website. He worked primarily on the server-side coding with PHP, SQL, and HTML5. He created the database, log-in system, and ability for users to create step-by-step content-rich DIY projects as well as search for projects that cater to their own interests.
